enrolled agents vs. cpa's

While we work with in-house CPA's, many clients and associates ask why we specialize as Enrolled Agents. Well, there's a few different reasons. 

Mary Stimburys Ticchione took both the CPA exam and the Enrolled Agent exam. She decided upon the Enrolled Agent license because it fit her career goals and aspirations and her firm's practice needs to a higher degree than the Ohio CPA license. If you're an accountant that's looking to primarily work with in-state clients and keep your client base centered where you practice, the state CPA license is the right choice for you. 

Her aspirations, coupled with her firm's needs, expand outside Ohio's borders. Stimburys Accounting serves a rather large nationwide client base. The Enrolled Agent license is a nationwide license giving unlimited practice rights for practitioners, in all states across the USA, without limitation or licensing border issues. She knew it was the right choice for both her and her firm, due to the constant expansive nature of her firm. Mary's license to practice is valid in all states with no practice restrictions.
